LeicesterMap is an independent city guide created by people who enjoy maps, local history, urban geography and discovering places beyond the obvious tourist routes. This is not an official website of the city of Leicester or any public organisation. We are simply enthusiasts who like building useful map-based guides for real places and real streets.
The purpose of Leicester Map is straightforward: help visitors, locals and curious explorers navigate Leicester through detailed maps, landmarks, parks, districts and interesting locations across the city. Some people use the site to plan trips, others to learn more about neighbourhoods, transport routes or historic areas. Either way, the goal is to keep information practical, readable and easy to explore.
